Bookings
To make and manage a booking we process your name, email address, optional telephone number, service, appointment date and time. Booking contact records are removed from the live booking database 48 hours after an appointment ends or 48 hours after cancellation, through a scheduled cleanup process; scheduled checks run every 15 minutes. Recoverable Cloudflare database backups may retain data for a limited additional period. A private, random booking reference controls online changes and cancellations, so keep it safe. Booking emails are not sent automatically on the free service.
Optional rebooking follow-up
If you actively tick the optional box when booking, and you have no future booking after your visit, your name and email address may be sent to the salon owner by email for one follow-up about rebooking. This means the information persists in that mailbox even after removal from the booking database. The salon operator intends to remove that email within 30 days and will honour opt-out and deletion requests. If you do not opt in, the owner receives only a non-identifying notification. Marketing contact must always comply with PECR and UK GDPR.
Website messages
We hold your name, email address, conversation messages and private reference to manage enquiries. Messages are visible to the salon owner in a protected inbox and deleted 30 days after the last activity. Replies are read through your private conversation link. Please do not send medical histories, payment information or other sensitive information in the contact form.
Security and changes
Cloudflare provides the hosting and database services and its Turnstile technology helps prevent automated abuse. The site does not use customer accounts or require cookies for appointment management. You may ask the operator to delete or correct your information sooner, subject to any applicable legal obligation. Your private link should not be shared.
Before the salon opens
The operator must confirm any legally required financial/tax retention practices outside this booking tool, complete a lawful-basis assessment, update this notice with the actual operator identity and contact channel, and check ICO registration responsibilities.
